JOURNAL OF THE HOUSE
Second Extraordinary Session, 103rd General Assembly
__________________________
SIXTH DAY, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2025
The House met pursuant to adjournment.
Speaker Patterson in the Chair.
Prayer by Reverend Monsignor Robert A. Kurwicki, Chaplain.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me and
lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23, 24)
O powerful God of us all and Lord of the World, let Your spirit and love arise within us as we, the representatives of
our people, wait upon You in prayer. We need you. With unfailing wisdom and unfaltering joy, enable us to meet
the important duties of this day and manage the many complicated moods that move in our minds and hearts.
Strengthen us as we sincerely strive to walk along straight paths and as we endeavor to do what is right and good for
our country and for our state. Please also the gift of favorable weather and rain.
And the House says, “Amen!”
The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was recited.
The Speaker appointed the following to act as an Honorary Page for the Day, to serve
