The cited passage, with surrounding source text

… More than 60 #MDFR units and approximately 200 personnel responded, arriving to find an airplane that had stopped beyond the airport operational boundary with heavy flames and smoke showing. Firefighters encountered a complex engine compartment fire and used foam from specialized airport firefighting units to extinguish the flames. Crews conducted search and rescue operations, locating and assessing patients throughout the scene. One person was trapped under one of the involved vehicles and had to be extricated by specialized MDFR technical rescue personnel. Specialized MDFR hazardous materials units safely shut down the aircraft’s engine and worked to mitigate a fuel leak. MDFR transported five patients to local area hospitals. We are now operating in a supportive role, with units remaining on scene to assist partner agencies and mitigate an ongoing fuel leak. There are no public safety concerns for our Miami-Dade community. We ask that the area be avoided if possible, as this is an ongoing incident.
